Google Ads
How long have they been there, how have I not noticed, and what can we do about it?

Re: Google Ads
Well that's new and unwanted. I've looked for a way to get rid of it via the administration panel but to no avail thus far.

Re: Google Ads
Very interesting...when I chose this service, I assumed that there would be ads, but this is the first time I've seen one. Maybe they give you a grace period to rope you in.
Anyway, we can disable ads for all members for the next five months by paying about $10. We can figure out how to work it if this is something people feel strongly about.
In other news, I eliminated the redundant title. Post forthcoming...

Re: Google Ads
Might I suggest simply moving it to the bottom of the page somehow, if we can't get rid of it entirely? I'm sure there's some CSS cheat out there we could use, I'd just have to hunt it up. Which I'll be happy to do, sometime after the influx of neverending assignments.

Good news everyone!
I found the option to get rid of the Google ads. As long as you're logged in the ads won't appear now. Sadly, any guests or members who pop on without logging in will still see them but I don't see that being a major problem.

Re: Google Ads
uhm... I'm logged in and the site just informed me that Justin Beiber has a crush on me. via ad-box. Besides the horrible-ness of that first ad that popped up, is this bad?

1) Congratulations on Bieber.
2) I'll see if I can't get Ruggeri to come back long enough to work whatever magic he did before.

You're ridiculous. I'm glowering at you right now. He is not desirable.
